True mastery is the mastery of one’s own mind” – Mohanji

Mystic and spiritual guide Mohanji’s journey of transformation began with the passing of his daughter Ammu who, as Mohanji says, “Made me aware of the possibility of a deeper love, beyond all man-made barriers. I was totally empty and devastated, when she left us so abruptly.” attached to, and placed me firmly on the path of spiritual evolution.” The isolation, agony, pain and suffering eventually led him into a deep inner exploration and a genuine search for the very meaning and purpose of life. He soon started receiving guidance from Shirdi Sai Baba, Mahavatar Babaji, Sathya Sai Baba, and several other Masters, some living in the body, others operating from other planes of existence. He made the Himalayas his second home, and slowly, communion started both physically and non-physically.

The first conducted meditations were in Dubai in early 2008, combined with spiritual discourses (satsang) and were made available to all unconditionally and free of cost. While some feel he is a mystic whose presence turns you inwards, others feel completely at ease around him. “True mastery is the mastery of one’s own mind.” says Mohanji, who maintains that one can continue to evolve spiritually, while simultaneously living and experiencing everyday life.

He has provided inspiration for Ahimsa Vegan (a vegan chain of restaurants), Vegan First (India’s first portal for vegans and vegetarians), Ahimsa Wear (a label for vegan and cruelty free apparel), amongst other initiatives to create a cruelty free world.
