Conviction & Passion

Conviction Empowers Action
Conviction Empowers Action

Conviction is all it takes. Conviction breaks all mental barriers. When a man performs out of conviction, he does not wait for approvals nor will he care to prove to others about his mission or reason for a particular action. He will never depend his action on others’ opinions and applause. He will be supremely self-sufficient. Man’s clarity and confidence depend on his conviction. Conviction leaves no room for indifference. Conviction travels in a chariot drawn by confidence. A man who is unsure will remain unsure and will almost always blame others for his follies. Those who gossip or blame others all the time are usually people who are unsure about their own existence, path and destination. Those who try to change others into their own image or character are also insecure and ignorant. They need company. They are afraid to walk alone.

All great Masters lived their life with conviction. Jesus was very much sure what his purpose of existence was. He never looked back to see if anyone was indeed following him. Nor did he look ahead in anxiety, hoping that he would eventually fulfill his tasks at hand. He was immune to both anxiety and dilemma. He was immune to others’ opinions about him and his mission. He behaved very much like the “son of man” all the while holding the Divine in its full glory, in his heart. His conviction was unshakable. Time was scarce, but that never bothered him. He was not bothered whether everyone understood him all the time. He never cared if anyone became too frustrated with his profound teachings and left him to ease his/her confused mind. Some went and came back. Some got caught up in regular existence which demanded no particular eligibilities and criterion to exist in the society. Knowledge and ignorance are both approved. Everyone has his room in the society. So, why follow an unknown language and make oneself insane? Let Jesus have his peace and we ours. This is the way some thought and spoke.

Some said similar things to Jesus’s mother. She would never answer such questions. She knew that her son had conviction, he was purpose-bound, and whatever he spoke was apt and accurate for the existing society. There was not a grain more nor a grain less. This was the exact medicine for the society of chosen men reeling in gross inertia. If the society failed to measure the quality of the grain, how can a son of man be blamed for that? The mother’s smile was deep and pregnant.  To a neighbor who kept nagging her about the obscurity of Jesus’s words, she said, “Serve the helpless, mother, and you will understand him. The only God a hungry man can understand is food. The only God for a thirsty man is water. Mother, listen to him. He is only telling these truths which you already know”.

Jesus
The Son of Man

The mother of Jesus never interfered nor interpreted what her son taught. That would have been nonsensical. That would have been inappropriate. A man of firm conviction is walking the earth, talking his subject. If there was more clarity needed, he would have arranged that himself. Why do we need another interpreter existing as a contemporary?  The future may need interpreters, as the subject matter will get distorted with time. It happens all the time. Men adapt truths the way it suits them. The real truth has nothing to do with the adapted truths.

Society is filled with cowards. Brave hearts have always been a rarity. Even those who approved his thoughts and words seldom expressed it and were too cautious. Some of those who were truly convinced, expressed and dared discrimination. Those who opposed him and thought about him as a menace to the society always voiced their concerns. Negative matters definitely find tongues. Positive and benevolent thoughts often do not find tongues at the appropriate time and invariably suffers a premature death. Society has always been brimming with cowards who could never stay with their understanding and conviction. This kind of passive society only expresses stoic indifference. They are good for nothing.

Jesus was equally indifferent about death. Mother knew that her son is walking a tight rope. He is always treading danger zones. This was part of his mission. Dare the storms and prove your point. The storms might knock you down. Still, dare the storms. The whole world will have to pay heed. That was essential to shake the world from induced slumber. Those who needed power created fear and through fear absolute control over passive people. The sleep was thus induced for convenience’s sake. It needed a lion’s heart to shake the unshakable slumber. Someone had to wake up and roar. The society needed this shake-up. The danger has always been the complete annihilation of thoughts words and action, ethnic cleansing. There was no choice. Either accept the available opportunity to sleep or fight against the sleep of generations and wake them up at the cost of own life. Jesus braved death. And finally, to ward off the slumber and create a new light, he embraced crucifixion. This was also part of his agenda. And the mother knew it. She had learned to accept anything and everything. Whether it was thorns or roses, it never mattered to the mother. She knew that, after the bloodshed, compassion will prevail. Compassion must prevail. How more can hearts shrink with pain and hatred? How more can generations grow in suffocation and lack of expression? How long? Everything was worth it, even the sacrifice of her own beloved son, for the sake of a larger good, LIBERATION!!!

Liberation it was. Jesus liberated himself and showed the path to those who had just woken up. The expression-less people looked at the whole episode in awe and disbelief. Those who cared deeply about possessions, relationships and greedily safeguarded their own good old physical bodies could never digest the message of imminent perishability that Jesus so blatantly demonstrated or gave forth. Also, it was quite intangible to believe that he could, would – or even we could – actually “re-create” the body in a short while – say –  just three days!!! All these were bizarre and inconceivable. But, the son of man did prove his point. He had the conviction which was well beyond self-annihilation. He was not afraid of anyone. He was truly THAT. The divine within. The Father element. The FATHER…. “I and my Father are ONE”, he roared with absolute conviction.

God bless all

Love

M

  2. Dear Mohan Ji,

awesome that is what we are now embarking on. Masters Gathering. We are now being guided by Divine Masters and that is how this is possible. We are the Masters and we are now creating Masters. We are all in our own ways working to create what was intended for us to do.

  3. What a flow and intensity – I had to read it again. Feel so blessed that I have been present when this was ‘dowloaded’… How brave was Mother Mary, utmost vulnerability, and yet such courage, subtlest of the subtle in the midst of the gross…
Was observing the photo of Jesus materialized by Baba. I can’t help but noticing that Jesus is performing the healing by holding the wrist – have seen that particular way of healing being done by only one person so far… 🙂 As always, you are full of surprizes!!! 🙂

  4. Absolutely beautiful. I am totally in Love with Jesus Christ. My son Yohaan pointed out to me once saying that Jesus Christ is my Super Hero. I loved the sound of it, & yes He is.

The first time I met you & while Biba was showing us all the beautiful pictures while your trip to India, the one picture that struck me was yours & Biba’s sitting under a huge tree. That was like a conformation of Jesus Christ with Mary Magdalene.

The first time I attended the Bless The World meditation & when you mentioned us walking in the Light, thats when I received my first Shakti Path. another conformation of Christ Presence. The Love of Christ is flowing so beautifully.

Thank you for your divine Presence in my Life.

    Thank you Ammu.

With Love, Light & Gratitude in my Heart.

  5. Dear Mohanji,
I pray that all on the earth understand this message of “conviction”. Conviction indeed is important in every aspect of one’s life.

“The mother of Jesus never interfered nor interpreted what her son taught. She knew that her son is walking on a tight rope!”…….. My deep gratitude to Mother Mary. She is such a strong mother and had crystal clear and complete faith on her son and let her Son grew limitless. She is an icon of Mother’s love where her love did not bind the son!

Opposite is seen in the society many times. We all mothers on the earth need to introspect.

I had read your these words before, but I re-read this message today on the day Christmas 25Dec2010, it touched my heart being a ‘mother’.

    Thanks for this vital understanding.
    With love and complete surrender,

  8. Prostrations and salutations to Mother Mary. It so deeply resonates with what I have always perceived as that immense, unconditional love of a mother, but above all, a love which should hold no expectations and which allows complete freedom and space for the child to fulfill his/her own contract with the Universe without interference or fear from the mother.

    Thankyou MohanJI.
